Recent Updates Released on June 30, 2024

  • General
    • The new adjustments tool lets you make edits to your most recent payroll and year-to-date data.
      • After changes are made, you’ll still be able to see reports for the original data in addition to the newly adjusted data.
    • You are now able to change your monthly subscription plan between the Solo and Unlimited plans to meet your business’ payroll needs.
    • CPP and CPP2 will be displayed as different items in various locations such as the posting journal report, employee pay stubs, and the “Taxes” step in the payroll process.
      • When onboarding new employees, additional fields have been added for pensionable earnings and CPP2 in the prior payrolls page.
    • Due to the government of British Columbia enacting Bill 3 to increase the Employer Health Tax on April 25, 2024, the British Columbia Employer Health Tax (EHT) will reflect the rate change from 2.925% to 5.85% and any users who had previously selected 2.925% as their rate for 2024 will be automatically updated to 5.85%.

  • Bug Fixes
    • We discovered a group of bugs doing their best Ocean’s Eleven impression with the goal of causing us problems but as Ocean’s Eleven fans ourselves, we knew how to catch them before they could do anything and quickly ushered them from the premises.
