Enforce 2-step approval for all clients
Two-step approval will be turned on for all clients who have given you payroll administrator access. If you use this setting, then only you can turn off two-step approval for your clients.
1. Log into your Partner dashboard and click Firm settings.

2. Under General settings, click Edit.

3. Check Enforce 2-step approval.

4. Click Save.

Turn off 2-step approval for an individual client
If you have turned on enforcement of two-step approval in your firm settings, you can still turn the setting off for an individual client. Only the Account owner can disable 2-step approval for a specific client.
- In your partner dashboard, navigate to your Client directory.

2. Locate the relevant client in the list, click the drop-down arrow and select Overview.

3. On the Overview page, locate the Two-step approval setting and click Edit.

4. Uncheck Enforce two-step approval for [Client's name], then click Save.

The Two-step approval setting is now set to Off.
