    - Pending: added: Your hours have just been added and have not been actioned on by your employer.

Troubleshooting: Access the employee portal

  • Log into your Wagepoint Employee portal at payroll.wagepoint.com.
  • First, ensure that you are logging in to the correct url (payroll.wagepoint.com). Check that you are using the email and password that you've signed up with. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet, try using a computer instead. Clear your cache and cookies. If you still have problems, contact your employer or payroll administrator to check that your email address was entered correctly and that you were in fact invited to the employee portal. If there are still issues, please ask your employer to reach out to Wagepoint support directly.
If you are locked out of your account, please reset your password first before reaching out for further assistance if needed.
  • This happens most often because the link has expired. Try deleting the old emails, clear browser cookies & cache, and use the password reset link.
  • Ask your employer to re-send your invitation. For security reasons, you will need to contact your employer. If they require assistance with any user-related issues, please have them reach out directly to Wagepoint support and we will be happy to help.
  • This happens most often because an employee is viewing on a mobile phone or tablet. We are working on optimizing the website for mobile viewing, however, at this time it is not consistent. If you still encounter issues, try accessing your account on a computer.
  • For security reasons, we are unable to unlock employee and contractor accounts. Please reach out to an administrator on your company account for assistance. If needed, they can reach out to us directly for support.

FAQs: Employee information

  • A TD1 (Personal Tax Credits Return) is crucial for both employers and employees in Canada as it determines how much tax should be deducted from an employee’s income. Employers are legally required to collect and use this form to determine payroll deductions and remain compliant with the CRA.
  • If you're unsure what to list as your TD1 claim code, please contact the CRA. This resource may be a good starting point.
