You must complete the close account workflow in-app to avoid further charges.
If you close your account, note that you will still be billed up to the end of your current billing period.
Before you close your account in Wagepoint
If you chose to close your account in Wagepoint, please be aware of and plan for the following:
-
If you would like to use Wagepoint for your year-end forms, for any reporting, or to utilize our payroll tools, you will need to restore your account before year-end, as well as skip the necessary payrolls and potentially re-do some of the onboarding process (including account verification).
-
Your employees, contractors, and administrators will also not be able to access their Wagepoint accounts during that time. If they need to access their account, you will need to restore your account first.
Restoring your account for any reason will result in a base fee charge for the relevant billing period. We do not issue partial refunds or partial invoices. For example, if you restore your account to view reports, you will be charged for a billing cycle (even if you close your account again that same day).
