At this time, only employees can be placed on leave. Contractors can only be terminated and rehired at a later date.
Change a status to terminated or on-leave
1. In the navigation menu, go to People. A list of all people at your organization will appear.
2. Locate the relevant person, click the drop-down arrow, and select Change status.
3. Select the person’s new status:
- Terminated, or
- On-leave.
4. Enter the person’s Last working day. This is the last date that the employee was physically working.
5. (Optional) Add the person’s Return date.
6. Click Save. Wagepoint will automatically open an ROE workflow for this person.
Change a status to active
1. In the left navigation menu, go to People.
2. Locate the relevant person, click the drop-down arrow, and select Change status to active.
3. Enter a hire date, then click Continue.
4. Wagepoint will automatically open an onboarding workflow for this person. Complete the workflow, then click Rehire.
