Create, edit, disable or enable a job title

Create a new job title

1. In the navigation menu, go to People > Job Titles

2. Click Create a job title.

3. Under Job title, enter the title.

Note: Each job title must be unique; there cannot be two job titles with the same name. 

4. (Optional) Under Assign to people, select the relevant employee(s). Only active and on-leave employees will be shown. 

5. Click Save.

 

Edit a job title

1. In the navigation menu, go to People > Job Titles.

2. Locate the relevant job and click Edit.

3. Under Job title, make the changes and click Save

Note: Editing existing job titles will not update prior payroll reports. 

 

Disable a job title

Note: You cannot disable a job if people are assigned to it.

1. In the navigation menu, go to People > Job Titles.

2. Locate the relevant job, click the drop-down arrow and select Disable

 

Enable a job title

1. In the navigation menu, go to People > Job Titles.

2. Under Job titles, check the box to View disabled items.

3. Locate the relevant disabled job and click Enable.
