Add multiple bank accounts and priority of deposit

The first bank account entered on an account will by default become the first priority account. This is termed Priority of deposit. You can enter the dollar amount you’d like directed to this priority account, and you can change this number to a percentage by clicking the drop-down arrow and choosing %. A person can be assigned up to four bank accounts.

To add another bank account to a person’s account:

1. Click Add another bank and fill out the information.

2. Click Done

Important! To ensure a person receives their entire net pay, the lowest priority account must be set to receive 100% of the remaining funds.

Priority of deposit

Please follow the steps above with the following information in mind:

  • If an employee has two accounts:
    • The first bank account is automatically set to be first priority. You must indicate a dollar or percentage amount that is less than 100% of the net pay for this account.
    • The second bank account will be automatically set to second priority (lowest) and 100% of the remaining net pay will be allocated to this account.

  • If an employee has three accounts:
    • The first bank account is automatically set to be first priority. You must indicate a dollar or percentage amount that is less than 100% of the net pay.
    • The second bank account is automatically set to second priority and you must indicate a dollar or percentage amount less than 100% of net pay.
    • The third account is automatically set to third priority (lowest) and 100% of the remaining net pay will go to this account.

  • If an employee has four accounts:
    • The first bank account is automatically set to be first priority. You must indicate a dollar or percentage amount that is less than 100% of the net pay.
